Improvising poet Bolot Nazarov earlier detained for drugs released under travel ban

Kyrgyzstan Post News - Improvising poet Bolot Nazarov was released under travel ban, the press service of the Bishkek police department said on Jan 23.

The Sverdlovsk District Court found the detention of Bolot Nazarov lawful and justified. 

Nazarov was detained by police in Bishkek on Jan 23, the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs said. Police found and seized a polyethylene roll with dark brown substance with a peculiar odor weighting 14.71 grams. According to the expertise, the substance is hashish drug weighing 8.69 grams.

Earlier, the police received an appeal from a woman who claimed that a man named Bolot had induced her to use drugs.

Bolot Nazarov worked with the journalist Bolot Temirov. On the evening of January 22, Temirov's office was searched and the police found hashish. Bolot Temirov was later released being imposed a travel ban.
